Death Canyon (and Death Canyon Shelf)? I've been trying to plan a trip along the Teton Crest Trail this summer, which coincidentally is what brought me to this website.

ETA: Oops, ignore this post...there was a weird delay, when I posted this none of the other responses were there.

Well here is a WAG even though my WAG's have been abysmal lately.

In the bottom pic the mountains might be the Pine Valley Mtns so is the spot in the Utah Hills/Beaver Dam Wash area?
 
Although that doesn't really feel right either. The geology looks a lot more like the area between Capital Reef and Torrey.
 
Geesh, I blow at this game. Now Scott has me thinking.. Is that butte in the center of the top pick the Lampstand?
