Dang, you are right. I should have noticed a White Rim...Its taken from Murphy's Point in Islands in the Sky.
Jeff, welcome to BCP. You related to anybody here?I know what mountain it is, but got no pictures to post (for I have no camera)
Jeff pulled me over to look at the picture and asked "do you know where that is." I saw it was Joey so I said. "Glacier". It wasn't a view I recalled personally seeing so that narrowed the area quite a bit. I looked at the trailing ridges on the Mt. Jeff said "I think it is Mt. -----------". At 10,466 feet, Mt. Cleveland is the highest peak in Glacier National Park. We are thinking it is a shot taken from Porcupine Ridge.well, I'm @Scott Chandler little brother, and @chandlerwest s son, I've been lurking for quite sometime because I haven't built the habit of bringing my tiny wrist camera with me( because I don't have a phone). The Pika a just a cute placeholder from the internet (sorry person with that picture) Soon, I'll get out and do some trips, but winter has hit and I don't quite have enough gear. I will let my dad (who took this picture of me) guess this one for you guys, he actually has pictures to use.
Jeff has a bit of a thing about Mt. Cleveland. His interpretation of my story about my Belly River trip I took in 1985 is, that I spent the entire day in the majesty of Mt. Cleveland without realizing it. He razzes me about on our annual trips to Glacier. His story it funnier so......maybe it is true. Just for the fun of it, here is a view of the mountain from the east side. You guys got it! I think I took the photo from the trail between Lake Janet and Waterton Lake.
@Michael congratulations. It's your turnWhite Pocket
