Not the San Rafael. Guess it is time for a hint. The original photo is a particular spot on this river which I guess is not as well known as I thought. It is in the Grand Staircase. A couple of more... A close up

You got it @Jmr! it is the Paria. The particular spot In the photo is called The Box. Super hike starting from the Paria Badlands down the Paria with several crossings and up the back way to Yellow Rock and Red Top. View from the top
