Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Reminds me of the area along the road from the Burr Trail south to Wolverine Canyon.

hmmm...... Go on....
Dang it. I was being lazy and couldn't line anything up in Google Earth, but I'd hoped I was close enough. ;)

How about Death Hollow and Little Bown Bench? I've never been farther south than Horse Canyon, but if I "go on" past there it takes me to that area...

OK, i'll give it to you, it's not like we're winning a fabulous prize. :)
Besides, when I look at Google Earth, things are a little smooshy and can distort from reality. (How many times have we discovered that in the field?)

I was looking for Silver Falls Bench. I did look up the definition of bench and I guess there are differences, but when out and about, they all look like mesas to me.

The other defining features were: Navajo Mountain in the first zoom (with a little Fifty Mile Mountain next to it) and then in the second it was Fifty Mile with its characteristic bands showing up. On that trip, I spent several days hiking canyons off HITR and then drove down Horse and then down to Silver Falls. With all the driving needed to get from HITR over to Silver Falls, I lost perspective of just how close I was to where I started. I really enjoyed Silver Falls, though I didn't make it down to the more narrow portions and to the river. I definitely want to plan a backpack to go all the way down.

Next spot please....

Far to the north!
It has hot springs nearby of the same name?

Yeah that's true, meant more of the starting place.
I also should never guess on Fridays cuz I am rarely online over the weekend.

Diamond Fork Arch?

Alrighty, thanks. Here is another spot, name this short canyon.
