yep has a bit the same feel for sure, but a lot more water!Looks a little bit like Willis Creek Narrows, but it's not that location. I'm interested in knowing where it is though...
different slot, same creek?Too many trees to be pleasant creek "mini-slot."
Maybe, but I have been from the road to the park boundary heading east (hiking in the creek) and I don't recall a section like this. But I could be wrong and I have been in it. Or it could be the other way heading west.different slot, same creek?
sounds like you had it all along R&R, take it for us.It's the Pleasant Creek mini slot! Take it away...
there's a tiny mini slot in Pleasant Creek where it's passing through the fold, maybe you're thinking about that one? my kids loved playing there when they were younger. the one pictured above is higher up near Tantalus FlatsIt must be a different one than the one I have been too cuz there's too many trees...... oh well, will be checking that out sometime soon in person so I will re-image it in my head.
Yeah! That's the one I am thinking of. I have never seen this one up near Tantalus Flats.there's a tiny mini slot in Pleasant Creek where it's passing through the fold, maybe you're thinking about that one? my kids loved playing there when they were younger. the one pictured above is higher up near Tantalus Flats
I think @SteveR should go since he obviously knew were it was. And I don't have a picture to post right now as I am heading out for a bit.Yes, it is is a very pleasant looking place.
it's worth checking out, it's a beautiful spot with some decent car camping nearby. you want 4wd for the last part of the drive though. there's full information about this location on road trip ryan.Yeah! That's the one I am thinking of. I have never seen this one up near Tantalus Flats.
well, it was Saturday of Memorial Day weekend! there was at least one group camped right at the narrows (a number of tents, hard to tell how many groups since they were all gone for the day) and then while we were hanging out a couple groups came to checkout the little narrows. I had figured this was off the beaten path but not quite! but anyhow it was fine, we had the area to ourselves for much of the time we were there...I'm pretty surprised you saw people there, @regehr! I've only ever seen a single other person in the handful of trips I've taken over that way. A hunter on an ATV.
That's a crazy coincidence that you would post that picture on Thursday evening, as the family and I had just pulled into camp at the upper spot, just as the road descends down to Pleasant creek. We spent a few days there just chilling. Very pretty place.it's worth checking out, it's a beautiful spot with some decent car camping nearby. you want 4wd for the last part of the drive though. there's full information about this location on road trip ryan.
Yes, I knew where that was but just from seeing it fairly recently on road trip ryan. I only hinted at it though as I was heading out camping for 5 days and knew that I wouldn't be able to reply. So I guess that means I'm up? Okay, where's this?Yeah! That's the one I am thinking of. I have never seen this one up near Tantalus Flats.

Regardless of where this is, this is a great composition!Okay, where's this?
