Guess the spot: Utah Edition

well this is a guess but is this on the Syncline Loop trail?
This is a different trail but the only access to it is from the Syncline Loop trail, and this is only about 200 yards off from the Syncline trail. So I'll give it to you for that!

The mixture of all the features, especially the mountains in the back and the uplift below the lighter colored ground, sure made me think south Capitol Reef and Escalante area. I don't know too many creeks down there and took a shot in the dark. Haha. Very cool with the clouds and snowfall(?) in the back!!

What's the "lake" below? It actually is called a lake on maps, and I think the water level fluctuates a lot.

ya, this was just about a month ago, weather was "spring mix" with snow and/or rain hitting us about six times a day, but luckily nighttime temps were a bit above freezing. nobody else was there, it was glorious.

Is this Faxon Lake?

I'm surprised nobody has responded yet. It's just a stone throw away from fairly popular lake that shares part of its names with a famous ship. You can actually see the hut on USGS Quads and it's close to an area where people like to recreate in the winter.

Is it near Fish Lake? I'm having trouble squaring the other hints with the ship one.

Near Navajo Lake / Ceadar Breaks?

The stone though, it looks kinda Wasatch-ish.
The hint for the ship name though... like Titanic, Mayflower, Clipper?
