That's a good guess. Correct side of the CO River. Not Cedar Mesa sandstone, however. This formation is in Navajo sandstone.

Yeah but I am more specific in saying that it is SOUTHERN UTAH. So it's my turn not yours!! Hahahahaha.

We scrambled on top of a mesa to see a special place, but before that met local couple who told us that a slice of the mesa was splitting of. They guided us to the crack were a measuring device was installed to monitor the changes.

What is the name of the well known feature on this mesa.

You're on the mesa by Mill Canyon n. of Moab, maybe going to Dellenbaugh Tunnel?

The general area is right, but the feature that we were going to see is also on top of that mesa.

Uranium Arch - though I think it's further south. I know there's an arch up there cause I've seen it many times from Dalton Wells, but I can't remember the name. Maybe someone else knows it.
