Still kinda the right area but the last guess was closer. The rocky feature that's kinda center right bears the name of an old type of building.

Different island. The only named point on the island (that I know of) is in the photo/what I was looking for. I guess the crop made it too obscure.

Maybe a long time ago? I did one from lower on the island a few years ago. This photo was this year. Went and shot my new lever gun and then climbed one of the summits. Fought gnats the entire time.

Yep! Would be an excellent time to be there. Hopefully cold enough to keep most shooters home, and definitely late enough you wouldn't have to worry about gnats.

Castle Rock is the rocky summit kinda toward the center. I've never made it there because the people I've been with have never wanted to go any farther than the southernmost summit.

That'd be the Henrys, from somewhere on the South Summit Ridge near Kimble and Turner Peak, looking south toward the Horn and Mount Pennell, with Hillers on the left. I took a similar shot last year on the way up to Kimble and Turner.
