I'd throw a guess out there but I am at a complete loss. I've been to the Swell a number of times, but nearly always to the same 2 general areas.

The color of the sandstone looks like it's probably south of I-70 maybe....

Indeed @Nick already knew, Chimney Canyon is supposedly one of the most overlooked areas of San Rafael Swell. It has red canyon walls in Google Earth, so possible. Also close to Mussentuchit Flat, which @regehr mentioned in an earlier guess......
