I just looked around all the places where I knew volcanic rock butted up against slickrock.

Chatted with the airport operator at some length. Very, very few aircraft a year land there that need that length. Pretty much a boondoggle.

That is the airport near halls crossing - close to the start of the southeast side of the hole in the rock trail.
