Hiked up Chimney Rock when I was a kid - six years old I think.

You know, when I was a wee lad back in Asheville, North Carolina, my dad smoked a pipe. So I'm not sure how he made it to the top of Chimney Rock, but he did.

He probably took the elevator too. It was officially opened in 1949
