All this really does is make me want to go back to Alaska even more... ugh.
Sorry - I figured the Brooks Range is on most people's short list. No offense intended.Not really sure how this would be pretty easy, unless you know a fair bit about AK topography.
I briefly skimmed around AK but figured it would be Montana or something given the clues. Not a lot of north-south lakes of that size to be found though. Haha. Waterton was the closest I could find that resembled it.Whew, lotta crickets here. This is the 3rd-highest peak (formerly believed to be the highest) in its range. In Alaska.
