The color reminds me of the images Caltopo has for some parts of the West Desert, but I can't place my finger on where it would be, especially with all that water. So I think that thought is way off.

caltopo has a layer for 1895-1915

I haven't verified, but it reminds me of the Holter Lake and Gates of the Mountains area. So that's my guess for now.

Not a large range, but well known due to its proximity to one of the larger cities in the area.

That's it! And yes we are! Well, Belgrade, but the job is in Bozeman. Very excited about it.

I've never seen a mountain lion in the wild. Sounds like an awesome experience!
