I finally got a moment to update my bag nights after my last couple backpacking trips.

Mar. 11th-12th: 1 night, (first backpack with my son), Negro Bill Canyon
Mar. 17th - 19th: 2 nights, Upper Muley Twist
Mar. 31st - Apr. 2nd: 2 nights, Big Dominguez Canyon
Apr. 13th-16th: 3 nights, Fence Canyon (Escalante River) with @Yvonne

Just got back from a 71-mile rafting trip on the Yampa and Green Rivers through Dinosaur National Monument. Incredible scenery and some fun rapids, including my first class IV. This was at our last campsite on the Yampa before reaching the confluence with the Green.

Fisher Flat or Chris Flat? Or is Fisher Chris's surname? Seriously though, that looks like Chris Flat, but is there another flat right near it that actually is actually called Fisher Flat?....OK, as I write this, I did a google search and found some history on Pleasant Grove and answered my own question. Fisher really was Chris's surname, hence the flat apparently being called by his first or last name by different people. :twothumbs:

This was a nice NF group campsite, all for $5 by side of huntington river.

june 24-25 - 1 night backpacking in Jewel lake, uintas.

july 1 - 2 - overnighter in Boulder Mountains(finally made it to the top, with my trailer and canoe..but had to cut short due to sickness, also forgot to bring back paddle in the process. ). If someone goes to Boulder top anytime soon, there's a nice Bending branches canoe paddle lying on side of Raft lake.

Yup. It is an attitude thing. Even sleeping UNDER your FJ. However, the Best Western is over the limit..

Hows about sleeping in my FJ in a Best Western parking lot? I actually did that once but it was after driving for a gazillion hours. Not recommended.

Most of my bag nights this year have been in my car. It's really easy, usually comfy enough, and as quick as my tent when car camping.

Hoping to change that with some backpacking soon!

Spent the last 4 nights sleeping in this incredible shady campsite in Fiftymile Creek. Sad to see so much of it back underwater though.
