2 nights | GSENM The Gulch and shit | September -Turned out to be quite an epic. Set up a shuttle with @NateGeesaman (thanks again man!), I came upon the drop off into the slot, and didn't feel comfortable getting down it with Mya (my dog). I turned around and had to make it back to Boulder so I could plead with Nate to get me back to my car (parked at the end of the Old Sheffield Road). 19 miles later, and a very lucky hitchhike, I made it in time. Even as it came, the desert is good. Slept under the stars, perfect temperatures, it's as if my body took a deep breath through every pour and I feel renewed.

One of my most epic (in a bad way) trips was in The Gulch. Got turned around at the exact same spot, but at the time there was a giant flood pouring into it making it certain death if we had tried.
