maybe it's your fault, who knows.
In March during our camp out I was proudly announcing of not having any problems for years. But in May it was a different story.
I guess I've overdone it a bit with all the sandy desert hikes and backpacks.
Damn patella tendon, I had issues for weeks. :)
But still looking forward for my upcoming mountain trips.
Hope your knee is getting better now.

So I'm sucking even more than I thought I would this year... Squeeked in 3 nights BP'ing in the Uintas over the weekend or I'd have gone the whole month of June without camping. I bet it has been more than thirty years since the last time I didn't go camping in June.

Ha! I guess it's all about perspective. We're tied right now, and I'm psyched about my current total. By the end of July I'll have beaten my total from all of last year. I think Miss Buffalo may end up kicking all of our butts this year. ;) As long as I meet my goal of 40 nights I'll be happy.

I guess I'm now completely hooked with the Uintas, even with a slight change in my original plans.
 
Looks like my bag nights are going to tank even worse than I thought... My Daughter, finally, after years of trying, wore me down and talked me into buying a camp trailer. Picked up an older one a few weeks ago, we took it out for a couple nights this weekend for a test run. I don't hate it like I thought I would. Huge hit with Daughter. So, it looks like family car camping trips aren't going to count for bag nights anymore.

Oh no you do not! You don't get to take that off the list. If I am in a sleeping bag and there is mesh and tarp I don't care if it rolls I count it. I just bought a small tent trailer and took it for its maiden voyage. Two nights and they count!

Spoiled Bill... I am spoiled now. It rained this weekend and we had an escape and we were not crawling on top of each other and this mother wasn't ready to pull her hair out by the time we came home. LOVED it.

That was pretty much the sentiment from the women in my family too. They loved it and I'll never get them tent camping again. I "kinda liked" the whole trailer "camping(?)" thing. Which, was a pleasant surprise, actually, as I really thought I'd hate it. But I didn't hate it at all. Kinda liked it, actually.

Don't see myself dragging the trailer around much on solo trips, but I do see an entirely new kind of family trip quickly evolving. Still get to go "somewhere" and do some cool stuff, just not quite the same kind of "somewhere" or "cool stuff" I'm used to.
