Spent last night out at the Lucin Sun Tunnels for the solstice with the Expedition Utah crew. Too overcast this morning, no luck at all on seeing the sun come up through the tunnels. The planet is broken, the sun failed to show through the sewer pipes of the solstice... It never got all that cold though, which was kind of nice. Just snowed a bit.

Something unusual happened on the 49th bag night. We kinda sorta accidentally stayed up until about 8am. This shot was taken at 7:15am as the sky lightened. I feel that even though it was more of a bag day, I'm still ok calling it a bag night.

thanks everyone.
I told a few weeks back I'm not out of the race until end of December.

But 55 nights is really awesome. It's not going to happen this year I guess.
I also accomplished my goal of reaching 500 hiking miles and ended up with 602 miles.
Updated my file yesterday and finally finished with 602 miles.
It definitely was a good year
