finally got your earthquake here in Boise

pretty big with 6.4. Very close to an active fault.
The moment tensor beachballs on USGS show it was like a strike -slip fault, pretty close to an active normal fault. But wow, this one was was pretty shallow.
Almost like our Hawaiian quakes

i got the @Jackson experience, and didn't even feel it. i was out in the front yard planting a tree. totally unaware until my wife came out and asked if i 'felt that'.

Contrary to the news it wasn't S Idaho....and Yellowstone is still here. Never felt anything in Island Park, I'd guess too much rock layer.
