There's a few decent sites outside of Fruita but nothing spectacular. Aldaron is right about the Swell, lots of great primitive camping out there. I wouldn't really call the Goblin Valley campground a party spot but the advantage of staying there is that you can wander around the Goblins at night.

I pretty much love anything in Island in the Sky. Great TR!

Did you by chance scope out the entry/exit at the bell rock because I've heard mixed things about the exposure there. I had this one all mapped out for a day hike awhile back but it ended up being really hot that day so we ended up lounging and swimming in Powell.
