All the pictures on this thread are amazing, they motivate me to try and see more places.
I wasn't able to get out much this year due to some health issues but I' looking forward to 2014 being a much better year.
I like this picture of Balance Rock because it is the first time I actually waited around to catch the setting sun light on the sand stone.
I took a day off work in early October to spend my birthday enjoying the fall colors and doing some photography. This was just off of Hwy 150 out of Kamas.
I made four trips to Masa Arch to get a decent picture of the arch at sunrise. My trips out here have been one stupid mistake after another. The first time my lens was dirty and the pictures turned out terrible. The second time I had been doing some night photography the and left the camera on manual focus, when I looked at the pictures they were all out of focus. The third time there were just too many people.
Love all of your shots. You people are incredible. I am just getting into landscape photography and really enjoy shooting waterfalls (well for the couple times in the past months I've been out to shoot them). Some of these are the ultimate beginner landscape photos, but ya gotta start somewhere right, and they are my favorite from the year. I'm excited to get some more sunrise/sunset shots in the next year.
