Yellowstone's Heart Lake -- September 14-17 2020

Well, it took about five and a half years. . . but I managed to put a video together of this trip. I did not take a lot of footage back then, so the "video" is picture heavy and probably a repeat of what is already in this report. There is some video footage though. . . and at least there is no singing this time! :)

It took me five and a half years to recover from this trip. :D

Glad you decided to reach out.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I can't belive that it was you that introduced Hugh to Circus Peanuts. If you had asked me when I met the two of you (2021), I would have said it was a long running @scatman tradition. Still think you both are insane for eating them :)

I'd have gone to my grave never tasting the sweet taste of a Circus Peanut again if not for Dave. I can still recall the feeling when he asked if I wanted a Circus Peanut.

I’m pretty sure Sportsman’s Warehouse carries circus peanuts.

Loved the report. Hiked in there with my Dad (who has since passed away) back in September of 1995. Stayed on the south end at 8H1. Caught a nice big cutthroat and saw a pika on that rocky slope on the south end of the lake. Great memories. I remember that haul up out of the Witch Creek drainage was brutal.
