- after a too-close encounter at 60 mph on my motorcycle in northern Colorado. I noticed him as I rode up on him. He jumped up onto the bluff and interrogated my intentions. Hearing no response he headed north fortunately after I captured this iPhone pic.
The male osprey caught the fish and brought it to the nest for the female osprey. The fish got stuck in a stick in the osprey nest. The female osprey took off with the fish on the stick and landed on a pole in front of us. It was an amazing sequence of events.
Seen along the Toroweap road early this morning. He was kind enough to allow me to dig my camera out from the back seat, only flying off when I inched the truck a little closer. Anyone care to positively identify what type of bird this is? It was big. @Artemus

Greg's photo is of a moose? That is beyond strange that you can see it but I can't. It's usually a privacy setting, but it should be the same for both of us. I checked it from another IP and other browsers and same thing.
