Album Wildflowers

Our son moved to Colorado while working remotely, and we had a great time visiting him and exploring Boulder and nearby areas. We hit the jackpot with wildflowers on hikes in Boulder (Flatirons, Mt. Sanitas) and Indian Peaks (Brainard Lake, Lake Isabelle & Glacier hike).

If you look closely at the last photo, there are some white specks and streaks visible. Yes- that's one of several brief snow squalls that rolled through during our hike to Helen Lake. An almost welcome change from an otherwise very hot dry summer here, that has advanced the bloom by a couple of weeks.

I thought that was all smoke. Glad to be wrong!
