Album Trees

Wow. I know those guys are supposed to make the trees look huge, but I just can't help but think I'm looking at miniature people! Wild!
 
Loved how this tree was growing in Bryce Canyon.

I bet. This particular area was carnage from an avalanche that had happened years earlier. It was a beast to get through it all and the toe of it was totally impenetrable. Luckily for the maintenance crew, this wasn't anywhere near a trail.

Orange tree in the courtyard of the Basilica di San Lorenzo, Florence, Italy. I know this is Backcountrypost but this is one of my favorite trees so I thought I would post it.

I believe these are pine trees, with an Italian cypress or two, at the Castello di Montegualandro in Tuscany (the castle is right behind me). In 217 BC Hannibal, camped on and around this hill, lured 25,000 stupid Roman soldiers to their deaths :

In comparsion to our european trees and forests - they are unique.
