It was definitely heavenly to not have to filter all the water we took from it. Not so heavenly lugging all that water to the rim of the canyon for our dry camp.

This one was growing on a horizontal surface, the ones that really impress me are the trees growing on a vertical surface. You'd think the rock would make it hard enough to get started, but fighting gravity at the same time just seems impossible.

This has me pumped for my next desert trip in a few weeks. Haven't seen green leaves down there for a while!
