This thread needed more love than panoramas. So a pano with a trail.
A well loved and posted BCP spot from last Friday. No cars at the trailhead and a silent, lovely deserted desert trail with only a best friend for company.

Well said and well shot. A special place to many here...

Some recent trails:
Speaking of music "Dusty Trails will lead you to a golden road".
Especially once kids start carrying more of their own bulky clothes on backpacking trips! Golden indeed!

This was just over a week ago. The grass at times really is greener! Thank Heavens I was on the green side for once.

Another green one. This time in the foothills near home. It is nice this place once prepped for more homes is actually going to remain open space, if not true wilderness, given the fact you can walk what was supposed to be a paved road and the occasional electric box or fire hydrant left over. It has beauty in its own right.

This one is a little different. As you can see, a wildfire devastated the area around this trail last summer. The FS had the trail closed to remove hazard trees up until just last week. In many spots the trail is completely gone because of the fire.

It takes so much to bring trails back after a fire. Considering recreation budgets being slashed I am amazed any of them can be anymore.
