You are correct it would be very challenging. The boreal forests with hundreds of lakes, streams, rivers, ponds and wetlands. Probably like in Alaska, but have to admit I've never been to AK to my shame...

Interesting the trail is wooden in the beginning

Reading this thread made me realize how few pics I take of the trail. I will need to remedy that in the future. So, my pics will not be as awesome as some here on the thread.
