To Do in 2016

I have only ONE goal for this upcoming year. To become a single season ADK 46er. So if you're looking for me, you know where to find me. Big flop. Only got 4 in (Algonquin, Wright, Cascade, Porter). Bought a semi fixer upper in July and that pretty much killed my hiking season.

Other than that, my only other confirmed plans are:
April 16-21 - The Needles, CNP Done
April 22-29 - The Maze, CNP Done
August - Acadia NP and Cutler Coast Trail with my wife. Acadia NP Done, skipped Cutler Coast Trail

Dissapponting from a hiking standpoint but got a ton accomplished on the home front.

having my first kid in 2016 Done!

I'd like to climb a technical route in the Winds, or Lone Peak this summer. Didn't do either, but did get quite a bit of climbing in. Bought most of a trad rack, and used it a decent amount. Lots of new pitches in Little Cottonwood, Big Cottonwood, St George Area, and Joshua Tree.

I'd love to take my little infant on a car camp this summer (we're due in May). Leah's been to 6 National Parks already. This summer we went on a two week road trip. 4 nights camping, couple in a Polebridge Hostel, and a couple on my friends sailboat.

I'd like to have another jaunt in the Upper Paria region this fall. Failed. Although, I did a few other hikes I didn't plan on.

Overall, better year than expected.

9/17-9/24 Virginia section of AT Didn't happen But i moved to Colorado so i think that makes up for it.
