No, @Joey did great, at least better than the old man he hiked in with. :moses: Though I did suspect that he was sending smoke signals to potential rescuers on the couple of nights we were permitted to have a fire. :)

definitely the pursuer! this photo is the image of the OHHHHHH S**T moment in the movie when The Camper appears in the person's tent, and then that person is never heard from again!
yes, i love scaring the crap out of people around the campfire.
in fact...Scatman is a perfect name too! I'm using it next week on our trip to the Grandaddy Lakes. If you can make an appearance, that would be epic!!

You tell those gathered around your campfire at Grandaddy Lakes that if they carry a grizzly bear claw in their pocket or perhaps around their neck then they have nothing to fear from the Scatman. If they chose to ignore this advice, well ............... Beware of the footsteps in dark! :eek:

Joey is more myth than man. No one can say if he exists for sure. He seems to only appear when long/epic backpacking trips occur.
 
I think it would be fun to play "Caption this Picture" using the pic of Joey on the phone. Just copy the picture and caption it.

Oops I saw this after captioning Joey. Perhaps you can move it and call the new thread something like "hijacked Members of Backcountry Post" or some such.
