There is a hunting season for a kilted Scatman?

Well, before the head of this strapping young (cough, cough) laddie ends up on some sharp shooters wall, I would like to take the time to tell all what exactly they will be up against. First off, one will have to search the American West far and wide to track the elusive Scat. Places with names like Mad Mule Gulch, Shinbone Hill, Chicken Scratch Ridge and Kilt Depth Bog come to mind. He prefers hilly terrain with downfall and new growth present, but occasionally can be found in marshy madness. I would suggest carrying Scat Spray too for close encounters, as is it much more reliable than a firearm. The Scat is an elusive, solitaire creature that has never been known to smile, even during his most joyous occasions. :scatman: Some who have known him say this condition can rub off on those who are unsuspecting. When not alone, he prefers the company of Wolverines. Also, the meat of the Scat is tough and chewy - hardly worth the effort of the chase. Gizzly Bears have even thumbed there noses at him.

And for that one potentially lucky marksman out there, would you really want this hanging on your wall. :disagree:

These are for you @kwc. 75 degrees (kilt weather) in Salt Lake today (I think it cools off tomorrow) and a perfect day for a hike, so my friend and I headed up Mount Olympus this morning.

Nice @scatman !!! Glad to see you're still having good hiking weather ... not so much the case out here in the northeast. Been pretty wet and cloudy for quite some time ... and if this trend continues along with cooling temperatures we could have a snowy winter ahead of us. I am certainly hoping so since I have a season ski pass to utilize once winter sets upon us.

I hope you're able to utilize your season pass to the fullest extent this winter. It's cooling down a bit here this week but It doesn't look like there will be any moisture associated with the drop in temps.
