The Scat family on Church Fork Peak today. We saw our first rattlesnake of the season while hiking up the trail in Burch Hollow.

Great day for a hike. Katie and I ended up on Millvue Peak. The wildflowers along the trail were tremendous and I have never seen so many Swallowtail butterflies before - they were everywhere.

Thanks Ben. She certainly is a trooper, even when I drag her out of bed early on the weekends to go with me on my training hikes. She is going to head up to Yellowstone with me for three nights in the backcountry on June 30th. I'm finally going to make it to Delacy Lakes after trying to for the last three years without success.

One year my friend and I started doing funny pictures for our pass picture. We had to time it just right. The cool thing is they used the same picture 3 years in a row.
