Great pics and trip report.
We are seriously considering doing something like this next summer.
A trip to Glacier, then a Sawtooths trip.
Just curious as to what kinda of elevation up and down, on a daily basis?

Ben would have a more accurate guess than I. I will go back and see if I saved the info stored on the PDF maps app I used or maybe the caltopo Ben created a few months back. Much like when I hike in the Tetons, you are always either going up or going down. I THINK on average the elevation CHANGE was 1200' - 1500' a day? I'll get back to you on that if @Ben doesn't.

Side note: Glacier is awesome too. What did you have in mind?

Not sure about Glacier yet. Wait and see what permit we get. Its been a few years. Its time to go back. We have done the Tetons, so I can relate to those trails.
Just did 150 miles on JMT.
There was big time elevation gain and loss each day. Was just wondering how Sawtooths compared. Thanks for reply
