Album Rivers and Streams

Is this @Wanderlust073 prepping for the upcoming ski season?

This is Wanderlust ticking off month 12 last weekend, lol. Beggars can’t be choosers.

Was up on Pikes Peak this morning and it was dropping a few fresh inches though - won’t be long!

Overlook of Green River

All alone in blustery 40F weather at the overlook of:
Green River (top left and bottom) and Yampa River (top right).
The confluence is hidden by Steamboat Rock.

and surprisingly we stayed mostly dry!

Are you staying at the Green River Capground? If so, my brother is currently there. He was just up at Harper's Corner.

Bummer, we missed him! We did stay there, but packed up super early yesterday before the rain moved in. Went early to Harper’s corner, nobody else around in that weather, so it was great! We are now in @Udink home territory :)

Today the center of a large low pressure system moved over my area, making for some dramatically unsettled skies. Classic Spring skies for us here. In the photo is a side channel of the Missouri River.

Got a look at the flooding on the Big Sioux River yesterday afternoon. Lots of damage, especially around McCook Lake. Many other rivers in the area are also flooding. I did not take pictures but the Missouri River here is also as high as it's ever been. Big Sioux is at record flows.
