Album Panoramas and Stitched Images

I'm not an expert on this but they are not wide views so what advantage do you gain by stitching here? Were you actually moving the camera or do you take the same shot and the stitching just gives more and more detail and clarity?

The advantage is a very thin depth of field with as much field of view as desired. Allows getting shots with a small sensor that mimic a very large sensor and a VERY fast lens - as in, faster than you can actually buy. The DOF and FOV on a couple of those shots would have required a lens faster than f/1. Opens up medium format like shots for a crop sensor DSLR.

Stand in one place, take overlapping shots to stitch, just like any other pano.

Heading down Fiddler Cove Canyon to begin packrafting the lower Dirty Devil. This medium sized tributary, originating on the flanks of the Block, surprised us by being in flood stage on Presidents Day weekend. There had been rain in morning at our camp high on the Red Benches, but not the type of precip causing floods. Somewhat anxious to see if the Dirty was swollen and dangerous we ran the last mile down.

But our exit from this remote area was safe: none of the big eastside drainages upstream appeared to be contributing yet, and the 128 cfs we had seen on the Poison Springs gauge at home a few days earlier was still the fact.

I recently moved to Bountiful, Utah. For those not from around here, that's just north of Salt Lake City. Our new house is perched right at the top of a big hill with a ridiculously good view of the Great Salt Lake. We haven't even been here a week but every night is just amazing when the sun sets. Even when it's not much of a sunset like this one from last night.

Awesome! I have family in Centerville with property that has a very similar view. I never get tired of sitting on their porch watching the sun go down.
