I don't see an album for Panoramas yet so I'll start one.

Due to potential image sizes I'd suggest one image per post, and properly re-sized (please be considerate of us square monitor at work types) along with a link to a larger version if available/desired.

There is a panorama "how to" thread - here

Looking foreword to some great images.

    for starters:

Ooh, great idea for a thread. :) Here's a panorama of the smoke plume from the Seeley Fire from last year. Four handheld images stitched with MS ICE.

Awesome thread idea... I'm going to look into a way to override the image resize dimensions for this one thread. Not sure if it's possible, but maybe. If anyone wants a full size image uploaded, email it to me at nick@backcountrypost.com and then people can click on it and see it huge on the page.

Here's one I took from the foothills near Parley's Canyon this past summer. Handheld and stitched in Photoshop. Click for larger image.

An awesome spot in Capitol Reef. Top secret trail (not really a trail) to an amazing overlook. [IMG]

My first [worth sharing] experiment with a "bokeh panorama".

Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.
