"Milky-Way Rises At The Procession Panel". The Procession Panel is a unique petroglyph in Comb Ridge, a geologic uplift located near the town of Bluff, Utah (the glow in the distance). The artwork features hundreds of human forms, arranged in a long line, with numerous animal depictions alongside. Estimated age: 1300 years old.

Shooting Data: Nikon D850, 14mm, T2.8, ISO 2000, 20 second exposure (15 shots, stacked with Deep Sky Tracker software). Photoshop CS6 used to layer in artwork (shot separately with a Lume Cube LED light @ 3200°} and color corrections.

I hiked up to the panel as sunset and waited for the Milk-Way to settle into the preferred location, about 3am. I shot various setups until 4am).
