Just found your forum via Tapatalk. My wife and I are retired. We enjoy horseback riding in the Shawnee Forest of southern Illinois. When not riding the trails, we love to hike, especially in the ecological areas where horseback riding is not allowed. I see us getting kayaks in the near future. I joined your forum to get tips on places to hike and gear and outfitting tips.

A trip report is as long or as short as you want to make it, with or without pbotos... there's no right or wrong way to do it
