I've seen a lot of really cool pictures that include the moon in various ways while looking through all the threads and albums, so I figured they deserve an album of their own. Here’s one I thought was kind of eerily cool to start it off.

None are alike and all have something special from bight slivers to full disks with details of both moon and earth. Even a monochrome and I guess that is the third brightest object in the sky in conjunction with the Moon...Venus? You have some good skills.

On 6-22-13 there was a "super moon", so I made plans and went out and parked at my favorite view of Mt Sopris. I saw it glowing above the peak, I had no idea it was going to rise right over the summit. Pretty clear until about 2 minutes before it rose. I couldn't believe it.
