Quite possibly my favorite trail in Zion (I think I say this about most of my most recent hikes) is the hike to the Double Arch Alcove off of Taylor Creek. The trail itself is less than spectacular but the end destinations is one of the most spectacular places I have seen. Such a serene place! And usually you can have it for yourself (not for a long time but at least a couple minutes)

(there are numerous stream crossings)

(after about a mile it starts to get interesting!)

(Two historic Cabins on this hike)
The trail is just over 5 miles, according to my phone closer to 6, and on average takes (according to the sign at the top) 4 hours. Today I ran the bad boy in just over an hour with a 5-10 minute break at the end. I passed a handful of people but no more than 10.

(I have never seen a picture that does this place any justice)

After hiking I quickly drove to the top scenic drive and ran to the end of the Timber Creek Overlook, a trail I have never done, it was a pretty good overlook if I must say so!
