Lightroom vs. Camera Raw?

Just downloaded and updated Lightroom and CameraRAW and quickly processed a test image.....so much nicer than using DPP

I saw that a little earlier, and it's what I was hoping for.

I was planning on trying to capture some meteors tonight...but the clouds have ruined those plans. I'm hoping to try some night shots this weekend...

Interesting note on the upgrade; When I was on the phone with the adobe helpline all day a few weeks ago, the friendly, New Delhi residing technicians I spoke with told me that Lightroom and one other Adobe product (which other one I forget) are unique in that their updates are not really updates but are full installations of a completely new program. The LR you have is completely deleted and the new version completely loaded from scratch, not just some additional programing like most upgrades.
