I have that one too, it's a good one. I take it if I'm planning on doing time lapse in day light conditions but otherwise I prefer the tiny little Canon one (no-names also available). Smaller, lighter, doesn't require batteries.

It doesn't lock down, you just need a wired trigger. What kind of camera do you have?

I have a Canon XT and I have a wired trigger for it. If I set the exposure for 30 secs and push the trigger into the hold position it will just keep taking 30 sec exposures?

You also have to set the drive to continuous.

I have that one too, but for Nikon, bought on eBay, and also comes with the ability to fire wirelessly. Works good!
