Looks pretty exotic to me! I just drove through there for the first time earlier this year, and thought it was one of the prettiest parts of the state. Congrats on moving there!

Here's a clue - this picture was taken from the trailhead for the hike in to see the two above peaks. The river is one of the dozens of tributaries to the mighty Arkansas, and one of the two peaks in the above picture can be seen on the left below.

Correct! That upper plateau at treeline was just gorgeous. Really wish the path up to Lindsey was open to the public again - this was from early 2021.
