hint: it is at the relative head of a canyon that sees a fair amount of use & contains two somewhat popular natural features and is one of a few routes to enter/exit the 'head' of the canyon. there is a dirt road nearby above the rim with scattered primitive camping & a corral.

this & the route in just before the ascent to head of the rocks on 12 are my favorite entrances to the canyon. great colors and cross bedding everywhere. a few sweet hoodoos too. plus some gigantic ponderosas.

Hint- In the far far background you can barely see the reflection of or maybe the lake. It is a large, important southwestern US lake.
