I grew up not too far from there and we spent a lot of time there and in Dinosaur country. I knew your first photo looked really familiar but couldn't quite place it, kept thinking it was over by Jensen.
 
Another hint - home to a yacht club. Seems kind of unlikely in Colorado, but a search will probably reveal where this is.
 
OK since nobody’s got this one and I’ll be gone for a while, I’m gonna call it and let whoever wants to post next. It’s Reudi Reservoir near Basalt Colorado, home of the Aspen yacht club.
