Guess the spot

OK. First time I have played this version of the guess the spot as a winner, so I hope the rules are virtually the same as the Utah one. This convergence of watercourses is a location in the PNW, but where OR what are the two watercourses that join? Bonus points if you can guess the trail I'm on!

Another hint: It is close to Oregon's 6th most populous city. (It may be closer to another city, but you are less likely to know that one).

One of the watercourses is a VERY popular rafting river that eventually ends up in the Columbia River.

Shows how illiterate we are generally when it comes to anything outside the mountain west. Haha. Deschutes River near Bend? Like maybe the confluence with Tumalo Creek? Really stabbing in the dark here.

Sorta close.
It is the confluence of Whychus creek and the Deschutes River north of Bend.
44.460337, -121.335261 is the confuence. I am on the Scout Camp Trail at about 44.460957, -121.334011.

You are close enough @Jackson so take it away.

I actually remember looking at that one, and I can't figure out why I didn't guess it instead. 20/20 hindsight and all that.

This one may be a little obscure, but I'll start with the hints that the lake's level is subject to human control, and it's in Montana. I know one BCP member has been to the top of the mountain in the back too.

My first thought was that it kind of reminded me of Brooks Lake, but the mountains around it aren't pinnacley enough.
