I had to research that since Route 66 was "undesignated" as a US highway in 1985, but no, I don't think this particular highway was part of Route 66. If you ever want to buy some crystals, just head south on this road.

I think this one's too obscure/difficult (I wanted a non-Utah photo but don't have many of them), so you can take it away.
It's actually along Oak Creek just north of Sedona, near Slide Rock State Park.

Hope I am not one of the ones who's walked right past this! Interesting. Looks like Aztec (Navajo) around the tank and other types of rock on the peaks. Places like Red Rocks or Valley of Fire or northshore of Lake Mead come to mind but I know I am wrong....
