Guess the spot

Having been up it 3.5 times, I know it well. (The .5 time was before I knew it well and unintentionally climbed a subpeak over on its backside called Kismet.)

This photo is a classic example of a mimetolith, a type of pareidolia, where you see life forms in rocks/mountains. What is it called and where is it?

"pareidolia" what a cool word. Never heard of it before. Thanks for the education. Too bad I have no idea what I am looking at.

I grew up in the Yampa Valley near Sleeping Giant by Steamboat, probably where your friends are.

It does look like Yosemite, but could it maybe be in the Winds? Beautiful photo.

That Steamboat area is very nice.

The spot - not Yosemite, but it is in the Winds.

Here's a hint of a kind. This view looks toward the head of the valley, with some more prominent peaks in view.
