Wait a minute...is this the falls below Fontanilis Lake near Tahoe? If so, your pictures are way better than mine! =)

It took a second. Looking on my phone's screen I first thought the people were two more islands in the lake.

From the picture I might guess that you came over from Packrat Lake? What was the rest of your route like?

That's correct. Our route was: Redfish Lake -> Alpine ->Warbonnet -> Feather/Bead/Blue Rock Lakes -> Oreamnos -> Packrat -> Reward Peak for the eclipse! -> Kathryn -> back to Redfish. It was a really good trip.

That's fantastic. How was the descent from Kathryn back down to Redfish?
 
Unfortunately it's not called Goldfish, but the lake is named for its shape.
