I find it calling me but every trip report I have read they complain about it being pretty miserable due to all the loose rock.
 
First hint: It has a television microwave tower on the peak.
 
Second hint: There is a popular state park north west of this mountain that shares part of its name.
 
Mt Unremarkable is probably an apt description but not the name . I just kind of though it would be a good vantage point of the area and researched it when I got home. Last clue before I relieve you all of the pain: The road in the foreground is known as "The Loneliest Road in America".
 
So it is one of the ranges off of HWY 6 in Nevada. One of the many small ranges in the Basin and Range geography. Not a guess but a deduction based on the cluse. No idea which one.
 
Let’s move on. I obviously need to get out more so I have some better pics for this. It’s Cave Mountain, near Cave Lake State Park.

Someone please jump in a give us something a bit more exciting.
