A shoulder or sub-peak to Leidy Peak, far eastern Uintas?
That's so close, I'll give it to you. Not quite a sub-peak. It's Untermann, almost 50' taller than Leidy.A shoulder or sub-peak to Leidy Peak, far eastern Uintas?
I'll take it! I haven't been guessing the Spot too well lately. Actually I am proud to admit my wife Becky guessed it! I'll come up with the next shortly. On a different note, Dennis, we are headin down to do a No Man's backpack Saturday and will be following your footsetps scouting a route into Robbers Roost from about the Angel East trailhead hoping to build a new loop. Wish us luck! Hoping to find camp water Sunday night half way down the Angel East trail so we don't have to go down to pump the Dirty and huck water up to camp. That's so close, I'll give it to you. You are right about Mt. Ellen, Dennis. Actually that ridgeline is indicative, to me, of the Henry Mountains. The view is from the east from near the rim of Dark Canyon. Course I have gazed upon it so many times - it may not be obvious to others besides you.Looks like Mt. Ellen (actually, I think I recognize Bull Mountain on the right)?
Looks cool. There must be a hot spring or something across the river there in center frame.
It's not in the Swell, but that is the Green. I'm looking for the specific name of the place in the center of the photo. On the green river in the swell?
Yep! Shot from the other side of the river. You're up!Crystal Geyser?
Looks way familiar but I don't know.... Hunters Canyon?
